A story of how a hobby combined with necessity became a business.

Success Story:  "Unique Designs by April "                                         

Creativity and my love of jewelry, has brought me to the wonderful world of “Unique Designs".

I began making jewelry after I was introduced to the healing properties of magnetics.
Most magnetic jewelry out there was either unattractive or too expensive.

This prompted me to make my own. I did my research to find the magnetic beads, supplies and tools I needed to make this happen. The outcome was a piece of jewelry that was attractive and functional.      

 When others saw the jewelry I was wearing, they wanted me to make jewelry them a necklace as well. I later found other suppliers for non-magnetic beads and did many different necklaces with bracelets and earrings to match. I was creating custom pieces especially for them. This made me realized that I had a product that was in demand.

I soon had my first jewelry show and the response was positively overwhelming.           Now I am designing both magnetic and non-magnetic jewelry, offering personal service and custom designs. The areas I expanded into includes jewelry for weddings, proms, pageants, gifts or any other occasion.  My newest addition is necklace/collars for pets.  I have even created matching necklaces for people and their pets!

Magnetics have enabled me to have the energy I need to produce my designs and creations.                                             

I have always thought "Loving what you do and doing what you love" would be the ultimate goal. I have come to the realization that this is happening every day with each piece I make.  and she the happiness on the person's face. The best compliment  I could have is seeing someone wearing the jewelry I created and the happiness on their face!
