A story of how a hobby combined with necessity became a business. Success Story: "Unique Designs by April " Your style of packaging jewelry affects your customers' perception of your jewelry and its value. Here are tips for making your jewelry packaging a great marketing tool and increasing repeat sales.
Include a Coupon in Your Jewelry PackagingA coupon can be a great addition to your jewelry packaging. Offer something like 10% off their next purchase, or a free toe ring with the purchase of an anklet, or whatever fits in with your jewelry line. The key to making your coupon successful is to put an expiration date on it that’s not too far away—one week is a good timeframe; longer than that gives the customer time to put it off and wind up forgetting about it.
Slip in a Flyer When Packaging JewelryYou may want to include a small flyer (half-sheet of paper) listing your next shows, events, or website sales. Many people do keep these and will show up at your next event. Of course the flyer has your business name and/or logo, and all your contact info on it! Be on the lookout for other ways you can continue to add extra touches to your style of packaging jewelry.
